Over 60 Orpington drivers forced to repair shop on road riddled with potholes'
Briefly

Andy Patterson, founder of Automotive Repair Systems, highlights the urgent need for repair on Shire Lane due to severe pothole problems. The narrow road compels drivers to hit potholes, often leading to vehicle damage. Bromley Council acknowledges the issue but has delayed repairs, causing financial strain on motorists. Patterson, showing commendable goodwill, absorbs repair costs for affected clients, advocating for immediate action while expressing discontent over the prolonged neglect by local authorities.
We had three people come in one day where they've driven over the road at 40 miles per hour. Drivers can't move over them or around them if cars is coming from the other direction because the road is quite narrow.
It's taken them almost three months to actually start doing something about it, and it's costing motorists thousands of pounds.
We're doing [repairing wheels out of goodwill] because I think it's wrong for us to charge somebody who is in distress.
