The incident occurred around 20:30 GMT on March 1, resulting in the victim, 63-year-old Charlie Prodromou, sustaining critical injuries. Despite attempts to save him, Prodromou passed away in the hospital shortly after. The Metropolitan Police stated that no weapons were involved in the assault, and Tallant has since been remanded in custody, with a court appearance scheduled at Woolwich Crown Court.
