A man in his 20s died after the car he was driving was involved in a single-vehicle collision in Co Carlow on Wednesday morning. The crash occurred on the R702 road between Borris and Goresbridge at around 6.20am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body remains there. No other passengers were in the car, and no other injuries were reported. The road is closed while Gardaí carry out a technical examination, with local diversions in place.
