Investigation launched after 'deliberate' fire involving lorries at Epsom waste site
Briefly

A fire occurred at Skip It Waste Site in Epsom on June 25, at around 10:30 PM, involving several lorries. Emergency services, including Kent Fire Rescue, controlled the blaze, and no injuries were reported. Surrey Police began an investigation into the incident, believed to have been started deliberately, urging residents to avoid the area due to ongoing road closures. Community concerns were raised due to large explosions heard, prompting assurance from police that they are gathering information and evidence to find those responsible.
We received several reports of large explosions last night and I know this will have caused serious concern within the community.
I would like to reassure residents that we are investigating thoroughly to establish the circumstances and find those responsible.
