Jakob Lucky left his family on Christmas Eve 2018, disappearing until his death in September 2024 at King George Hospital. His health declined rapidly due to drug-related issues, specifically an infected heart from persistent injections. Despite emergency rescue efforts, he succumbed to multiple organ failure shortly after arriving at the hospital. Despite no heroin present, blood tests revealed cocaine by-products, contradicting assertions from family about his preferences. These events emphasize the tragic consequences of addiction and the impact on loved ones, as reflected in the inquest's findings.
'It is, agreed coroner Nadia Persaud, presiding over an inquest at East London Coroner's Court, Walthamstow.'
'I learned about his addictions a few months after we started to live together,' she said. 'He appeared to be trying to manage his dependence on drugs.'
Martina Miskeje, the mother of his two sons, noted, 'He always says he does not like cocaine.'
Emergency services were called to Portia Court, Barking, just before midnight on September 16 by an acquaintance, who said Mr Lucky had discharged himself from hospital….
