Gardaí in County Clare are appealing for witnesses following two separate assaults in Kilrush and Killaloe. In Kilrush, an assault occurred at the bottom of Francis Street near the Marina on Thursday May 21 at 7pm, where one male assaulted another after arriving by car and then drove away. In Killaloe, an assault occurred at the Two Mile Gate on Sunday May 24 at 6.30pm, when a glass bottle was thrown, breaking it and cutting a person nearby. Gardaí are also investigating two burglaries, one theft, and one criminal damage incident. A burglary in Clondrina, Crusheen involved a break-in and theft of car keys, leading to the car being recovered on the M18. Another burglary occurred in Ballyvally, Killaloe, involving forced entry and theft of multiple tools. Gardaí request anyone with information to contact the relevant stations.

"Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred in Clondrina, Crusheen last Saturday the May 23 at 5am. A house was broken into and car keys were taken, which subsequently allowed the culprits to take the car parked outside. The home owner disturbed the culprits and gardaí recovered the car a short time later on the M18. Witnesses are asked to contact Crusheen or Ennis Gardaí on 0656848100."
"While between 2pm of Saturday May 23 and 12pm on Sunday May 24, a burglary occurred at Ballyvally Killaloe. The homeowner returned to find a rear door forced open and the following tools taken: a DeWalt rotary drill; a DeWalt impact drill and nattery; a DeWalt drill and battery; a DeWalt rough cut saw; a DeWalt jigsaw with battery; a DeWalt nail gun; a DeWalt laser level; two stainless steel ladders; a DeWalt circular saw. Witnesses are asked to contact Killaloe Gardaí on 061 620540."
