Eltham man charged with murder after assault outside Wetherspoons pub in Lewisham

A 43-year-old man, Paul Tallant, has been charged with the murder of 63-year-old Charlie Prodromou, who died after an assault outside The Watch House pub in Lewisham on March 1. Police responded to the scene at approximately 8:40 PM, where they found Prodromou with life-threatening injuries. Despite being taken to the hospital for treatment, he succumbed to his wounds shortly thereafter. The incident reportedly followed a disturbance at the pub. Tallant was arrested and is set to appear at the Old Bailey on March 5.
