'Disgust' as bins overflowing in London park sees concern grow for summer months
Briefly

The bin in Hackney's London Fields has become overwhelmed, with rubbish stacking up due to good weather attracting more visitors. Concerns are rising among locals about future waste management in the park as spring and summer approach. Various comments from the community on platforms like Reddit express frustrations over insufficient bin availability and urge personal responsibility from parkgoers to manage their waste better. The situation raises questions about the local council's capacity to handle increased foot traffic and litter in warmer months, emphasizing the importance of proactive waste management.
London Fields usually has massive bins out, I'm guessing they only bring them out during the summer when the park gets rammed.
At least it was gathered around the bin: I thought this was a positive post about how neat and tidy everyone at the park was being.
It's on parkgoers to do better, take some personal responsibility and take your rubbish away it's not hard to do.
