Cyclist left injured after crash with car in Poplar

A cyclist was involved in a collision with a car on East India Dock Road in Poplar, leading to emergency services responding at around 10:15 am on April 19. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene. According to police reports, while the cyclist suffered injuries, they were not life-threatening. The incident resulted in the closure of A13 East India Dock Road in both directions near Burdett Road, causing significant traffic delays, although the road was reopened by 12:21 pm.
Emergency services were called to East India Dock Road, at around 10.15am today (April 19) after a crash involving a car and a bike.
The cyclist sustained injuries which are not believed to be life-changing, according to a spokesperson for the Met Police.
A13 East India Dock Road was closed in both directions after the crash, at its junction with Burdett Road, and there was serious delays in the area according to Transport for London.
Officers attended with London Ambulance Service to assist the cyclist and manage traffic following the incident.
