Georgina Blakemore, the chief executive of Epping Forest District Council, has resigned due to ongoing ill health, as shared in a private council meeting on February 21. Blakemore will also be stepping down from her positions on the council's wholly-owned companies, TVS and Qualis. Andrew Small has been appointed as the new acting chief executive, while Jennifer Gould takes on the role of acting deputy chief executive. Council leader Chris Whitbread acknowledged her dedicated service and highlighted the capabilities of the interim leadership team.
