Eight people have been charged with criminal damage after stunts targeting the Ritz hotel and the crown jewels. Take Back Power claimed responsibility for throwing apple crumble and custard at the crown jewels display. Activists also targeted the Ritz hotel by dumping manure next to its Christmas tree. Those charged include Ellen Redwood-Brown, Tom Barber, Toby Ellwood, and Tjalle Rumley for the Ritz incident, while Fatima Ali, Miriam Cranch, Mack Preston, and Matthew Cooper face charges for the crown jewels stunt. David Kilroy has been charged with theft related to a shoplifting incident.
