A man's body was discovered in Cookstown, Dublin 24, prompting an investigation by Gardaí. Reports of an unresponsive male were received around 1pm on Friday. Emergency services responded shortly after, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been taken to Dublin City Mortuary. The Garda Technical Bureau is examining the scene, and the Coroner and Office of the State Pathologist have been notified for a post-mortem examination to guide the investigation.
