Lucy Dacus debuted several new tracks from her anticipated album 'Forever Is A Feeling' at a recent show in Brooklyn. The concert included performances of her latest singles 'Ankles' and 'Limerence', alongside six unreleased songs from the upcoming album set to release on March 28. Notably, her new single 'Best Guess' is characterized as a rich exploration of queer love. The album features contributions from various artists, including her Boygenius bandmates and emphasizes emotional experiences of love, loss, and temporality.
Dacus explained: "I got kicked in the head with emotions. Falling in love, falling out of love. You have to destroy things in order to create things."
Earlier this month, the singer shared the third single - 'Best Guess' from 'Forever Is A Feeling'. The track was described as Dacus' "unique take on a love song, an anthem of queer tenderness."
In total, the night saw her debut six new songs in total, showcasing her growing body of work from the upcoming album 'Forever Is A Feeling'.
"You can't actually capture forever. But I think we feel forever in moments. I don't know how much time I've spent in forever, but I know I've visited."
