David Byrne joined Stephen Colbert for a farewell performance on the Late Show. Byrne and his band performed Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House,” using images of fire projected on screens behind them. Colbert wore one of the band’s all-blue outfits and danced with them at the end of the song. Bruce Springsteen was scheduled to appear the following night, with additional Thursday guests to be announced. Byrne’s tour supporting his 2025 album Who Is The Sky? resumes in June, including a New York City show at Forest Hills Stadium on September 19. The tour includes multiple European dates listed from June through July 2026.
