Soulwax Announce First New Album in Seven Years, All Systems Are Lying
Briefly

Soulwax will return with their first studio album in seven years titled All Systems Are Lying, set to release on October 17th via DEEWEE/Because Music. The album features sounds created using modular synths, tape machines, live drums, and processed vocals, aiming to replicate the essence of a live band. It is characterized as a rock album produced without electric guitars. The Dewaele brothers have previewed this sound with live performances and are scheduled to appear at several music festivals in 2025, with upcoming gigs this summer in London and Brussels.
All Systems Are Lying was made entirely from modular synths, tape machines, live drums and processed vocals. We wanted to capture the feeling of a band playing electronic instruments - live, loud and loose.
The Dewaele brothers described the sound of the new Soulwax full-length as a rock album made without any electric guitars, emphasizing the unique production approach.
