New roller disco set to launch in Woolwich this summer
Briefly

A roller disco event is set to launch on May 31 at the Waterfront Leisure Centre in Woolwich, organized by local resident Eve Horne, emphasizing community engagement through fun and music. Open to all ages and skill levels, the event aims to unite the community while fostering joy and connection. Horne, who has a history of supporting deprived youth, wants to bring people together on skates. The first ten attendees can sign up early for a discount, and minors need adult supervision.
"I've always been passionate about doing things that uplift and support people. I used to run a recording studio in Woolwich Arsenal to help disadvantaged youth and give back to the community. Now, I want to bring people together again this time on wheels."
"The roller disco aims to foster a sense of community and togetherness. Miss Horne hopes it will bring joy and connection, especially during these times when community spirit is more important than ever."
