Metallica announce run of Irish concerts as part of M72 world tour

Metallica's M72 World Tour, in support of their album 72 Seasons, has proven to be a massive success, selling over four million tickets since its inception in April 2023. Scheduled to extend into its fourth year, the tour includes two shows in each city with unique setlists each night, maintaining the group's No Repeat Weekend tradition. Renowned for their impact on thrash metal, they plan to perform in various cities across Europe and the UK in 2026, with tickets available starting May 30. Proceeds will benefit local charities through their All Within My Hands foundation.
Since opening in April 2023 in Amsterdam, the tour in support of their album, 72 Seasons, has seen more than four million devoted fans snap up tickets.
Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich posted: 'As incredible as we were told to expect...the second we stepped on stage...we knew this was other-worldly.'
