Liquid Mike announce new album Hell Is an Airport, share "Groucho Marx" and "Selling Swords"
Briefly

Liquid Mike has announced their upcoming album, 'Hell Is an Airport', set for release on September 12. The sixth studio album features themes of feeling stuck, influenced by the nature of airports as transitional spaces. Vocalist Mike Maple elaborated that airports evoke a sense of limbo, encapsulating stress and bureaucracy which parallels personal struggles. Ahead of the album launch, the band will tour North America, commencing on May 17 with Drug Church, followed by shows with Descendents in late July. Recent works include their album 'Paul Bunyan's Slingshot' released last February.
Vocalist Mike Maple explained that 'Hell Is an Airport' reflects feelings of being stuck, drawing parallels between the stressful nature of airports and the idea of limbo.
The album's title stems from airports as liminal spaces, representing a complex emotional state where individuals feel overwhelmed yet unable to escape their circumstances.
