LCD Soundsystem has announced an eight-night residency in London at the O2 Academy Brixton, from June 12 to June 22, 2025. This follows their previous six-show run at the same venue in 2022 and highlights their engagement with European audiences. Prior to this residency, they will embark on a U.S. spring tour, performing in various cities including Phoenix and Atlanta. The band is also working on new music, following their 2024 single and soundtrack contributions, building anticipation for their upcoming album.
This marks the second time that LCD Soundsystem have thrown a London residency, following their six-show run in 2022 at the same venue.
After bandleader James Murphy published a lengthy 'state of the union' in 2020 about their residencies and possible new music, LCD Soundsystem have confirmed they're hard at work on a new album.
