"There are already plans in the works to redevelop the Saville Theatre into a new performance venue so it sounds like Lost won't be around forever (well not in this location at least), so if you wanna check it out, best to try and get in there before the new year. It's been a tough few years for the city's nightlife (the NTIA reports that 37% of nightclubs across the UK have closed since 2020)"
Lost operates from the former Odeon cinema (previously the Saville Theatre) on Shaftesbury Avenue as a multi-level nightclub and performance space. The venue is run by the team behind Secret Cinema alongside an artist-led collective that occupies buildings for performance, cinema, live music and nightlife. Club nights run Friday and Saturday until 6am and host live performances, DJ sets and film screenings featuring names such as Marco Lean, Amaliah, Tonto, Rat Section, Plushb4by and Braden Wells. Redevelopment plans for the Saville Theatre suggest the venue is temporary, while the NTIA reports significant nightclub closures since 2020 and new venues are opening.
