Indian Classical Meets Club-Focused Energy on Blu Attic's Khoya / Raahon via Indo Warehouse | News | Deep House London
Briefly

New Delhi's Blu Attic releases a captivating two-track EP titled 'Khoya / Raahon' on Indo Warehouse, showcasing modern Melodic House infused with Indian classical music elements. The EP strikes a balance between intricate production techniques and soulful melodies, highlighted by introspective lyrics. 'Khoya' draws inspiration from progressive house legends while incorporating the Lydian mode, reflecting Blu Attic's classical and jazz roots. In contrast, 'Raahon' adopts a groovier, club-oriented sound, expressing themes of self-discovery through collaboration. The emotional depth of the vocals enhances the tracks, creating a shared creative journey.
This project represents flow for me; everything about these tracks just came naturally to me, from the themes to the minute details in production.
This project is deeply personal. I wanted the lyrics to feel like half-forgotten memories - hazy, emotional, unresolved.
Raahon is about being lost, and finding the way and being intuitive about it. It also reflects our dynamic as creative collaborators.
Khoya blends modern and classic strands of progressive house, pulling inspiration from early Deadmau5 and Juan Atkins.
