"CMAT expressed her devastation over the cancellation, stating, 'I realize this will cause issues for some of you who have bought tickets and may be travelling and for that I can only say sorry.'"
"LIDO Festival organizers explained that 'one of the wettest winters in recent history' impacted an 'extensive reseeding and improvement programme' in Victoria Park, necessitating the rescheduling."
"'The changes are in no way the fault of the artists,' the festival organizers stated, ensuring that ticketholders would receive a full refund for the cancelled performances."
CMAT has apologized to fans after her headline performance at LIDO Festival was cancelled. The festival, originally scheduled for 12 to 14 June, has been rescheduled to 31 August to protect park conditions. Other artists, including Father John Misty and Bombay Bicycle Club, will also not perform. Organizers cited the wet winter affecting park improvements as the reason for the change. Ticketholders will receive full refunds, and the festival will now feature a one-off show with Maribou State and other support acts.
