Ashes and Diamonds (mems Bauhaus, PiL, Sade) announce debut album: hear "On a Rocka"
Briefly

Ashes and Diamonds, featuring Daniel Ash, Bruce Smith, and Paul Denman, announced their debut album, 'Ashes and Diamonds Are Forever,' set for release on October 31. The band began their project seven years ago, but the pandemic and other distractions delayed its completion. Despite challenges, they successfully recorded 12 songs in 10 days with engineer Robert Adam Stevenson. Their first single, 'On a Rocka,' is described as hard, fast, and impactful, showcasing a unique sound that stands out. The single's video features Ash and motorcycles, further emphasizing their artistic vision.
'Yes it's been a long wait. We actually started this project about seven years ago but because of Covid it's taken all this time to be truly satisfied with the final product,' Ash says.
'We recorded and mixed 12 songs in 10 days totally banging,' says Paul. 'Old school. Loved it.'
'We wanted to start with something hard and fast for major impact regarding the first single,' says Daniel.
'It's a killer piece of music. Super fresh, it doesn't sound like anyone else. What else can you say? It's a banger,' adds Bruce.
