A spectacular stage version of 'Now You See Me' will arrive in London's West End this summer
"This spectacular stage adaptation of the hugely successful 'cool magicians fight crime' series of films hones in on the thing the people clearly want: illusions. Big ones. And lots of them."
"Reviews from its Sydney debut praised it as a slick, slightly silly spectacle that at least made some smart allusions to the film series."
"It's pitched a bit younger than the films (again, no crime) so should make for fine summer holiday fodder, being suitable for ages five and above."
Now You See Me Live is a stage adaptation of the popular film series, focusing on grand illusions and magic. It is a collaboration between Simon Painter and Tim Lawson, officially endorsed by Lionsgate. The show features a rotating cast of magicians known as the Four Horsemen, who entertain audiences without solving actual crimes. After successful runs in Sydney and Singapore, it will perform at the London Coliseum for five weeks, appealing to a younger audience and suitable for children aged five and older.
