"The musical, which had a run at the Birmingham Rep in 2023 and has been produced with the blessing of the Sinatra Estate, is a biographical story, starting with Sinatra's legendary performance at NYC's Paramount Theatre on New Year's Eve, 1942. As his fame grows, he's torn between his wife Nancy and screen icon Ava Gardner, and when his affair derails his career, he prepares to stage a great showbiz comeback."
"My dad used to always say, "If I can't feel it, I can't sing it." As a result, he wasn't just singing songs, he was recording an emotional diary of his life. And it's these classic songs that form the heart of "Sinatra The Musical." Set against the backdrop of my father's meteoric rise, the show reveals a more intimate portrait of the man than any interview or headline ever could."
