156/Silence, a Pittsburgh metalcore band, released their first Pure Noise single, “Our Parting Ways,” in October and announced their first album for the label. From a Distance, their sixth LP and follow-up to 2024’s People Watching, is scheduled for release on September 4. The album is produced by Josh Schroeder and includes guest appearances from Tony Castrati of Crippling Alcoholism, Mike Hranica of The Devil Wears Prada, and Alex Read of Make Them Suffer. A limited copper black ice shimmer blend vinyl variant is available in the BV shop for pre-order, limited to 250 copies. The first single is “No Arms,” with a video directed by Errick Easterday. The band is touring with Thornhill, Fox Lake, and Vianova, with additional headlining and festival dates.
