A woman was critically injured after being struck by a bus on Oxford Street outside Bond Street Station on Saturday evening, May 31. Emergency services quickly responded, treating her at the scene before transferring her to a hospital where her condition has been deemed life-threatening. The area was cordoned off by police as they investigated the incident, which involved multiple buses and debris spread across the road. An air ambulance was also dispatched to assist with the emergency response, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is still underway.
Emergency services were called outside Bond Street Station around 6.45pm on Saturday (May 31). She was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital where her condition was initially unknown.
Police tape enclosed three buses with debris scattered on the road. Meanwhile an air ambulance landed in a nearby park to assist the emergency services.
