This London market is being transformed into a 'community-first' food court
"Maison Noor will serve up street food inspired by global cuisine. The 16 fully halal venues include Knightsbridge's South Asian inspired café Chai & Chapati; cheesy slices from Caprinos Pizza; 100 percent wagyu beef burgers from Flip & Sear; LA and Mexican-inspired street food from Birria Taco; and loaded brioche buns from Bunify."
"Street food aside, Maison Noor will have a 850 square foot soft-play area for kids, a deli supermarket, a daily farmer's market and eventually a mezzanine level for fashion, beauty and art boutiques."
"'We are incredibly proud and excited to introduce Maison Noor, a new concept that will create a new highly desirable destination in Ilford for all from across London,' Amin said. Maison Noor is a new community-focused food court opening in Ilford, replacing the previous Mercato Metropolitano venue. Located in the Cultural Quarter near Lizzie line station, it features 16 fully halal food vendors offering diverse global cuisine. Vendors include Chai & Chapati for South Asian fare, Caprinos Pizza, Flip & Sear for wagyu burgers, Birria Taco for Mexican-inspired food, and dessert options from Badiani Italian Gelato, Dum Dum Doughnuts, and Mrs Potts' Chocolate House. Beyond food, the venue includes an 850 square foot soft-play area for children, a deli supermarket, daily farmer's market, and planned mezzanine boutiques for fashion, beauty, and art. The project is backed by Mayor Sadiq Khan and led by experienced managing director Atif Amin.
