One of the best pasta restaurants in London is opening a new location in Soho
"The third branch of Padella - which follows the original location by Borough Market and a second in Shoreditch - is set to come to Soho next spring. The 80-seater restaurant will open at 2 Kingly Street, a decade after the first Padella launched. Run by the same team as Highbury's Trullo (the best Italian restaurant in London , according to Time Out), the much-loved Padella is known for its hand-rolled pasta, including their now-legendary pici cacio e pepe and pappardelle with beef shin ragù."
"Padella Soho will be split across the ground floor and basement, and include a private dining room for up to eight guests. If we may be so bold as to quote ourselves about Padella's greatness, we recently said of the restaurant: 'This legend's note-perfect, well-priced pastas are as raved-about now as they were the week it opened.' We stand by it."
Padella will open a third London restaurant in Soho in spring 2026 at 2 Kingly Street. The 80-seat venue will occupy the ground floor and basement and include a private dining room for up to eight guests. The new opening follows the original Borough Market site and a Shoreditch branch and arrives a decade after the first Padella launched. The restaurant is run by the same team behind Highbury's Trullo. Padella is known for hand-rolled pastas such as pici cacio e pepe and pappardelle with beef shin ragù. Owners Tim Siadatan and Jordan Frieda expressed that Soho's energy was a perfect fit and that they hope the venue becomes a place for quick plates and long evenings.
