Aldi plans to open a new supermarket in Muswell Hill before the end of the year, continuing its expansion efforts with an investment of £800 million across the UK. This will include 23 new stores this year alone.
Giles Hurley, Aldi's CEO, stated: "For every £1 of profit generated last year, we're investing £2 this year—opening more stores and building the supply infrastructure to bring high-quality, affordable groceries to millions more families."
