IKEA has officially confirmed its new store will take over the space previously occupied by Topshop at Oxford Circus, having paid £378 million for the location. Spanning 239,000 sq ft, this store will be smaller than some UK counterparts but will still feature around 5,000 products, including furniture and home accessories. A restaurant will also be included, serving their popular Swedish meatballs. Set to open in autumn 2023, the store may affect foot traffic and public transport in the bustling Oxford Circus area.
