Transport for London (TfL) is celebrating its 25th anniversary by inviting young transport enthusiasts to participate in a competition. Participants have the chance to record a personalized public announcement reflecting their passion for a specific transport mode—bikes, cable cars, trains, or trams. Twenty-five winners will not only get their messages broadcast at a London station but also enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of transport-related facilities and receive TfL merchandise. The competition reinforces TfL's commitment to equal opportunities for children in London, according to London's Transport Commissioner, Andy Lord.
To enter, participants must explain in 100 words or less why they are a 'superfan' of a particular mode of transport - from cable cars to bikes to trains to trams.
Winners will also be taken on a behind-the-scenes tour related to their entry, such as depots for buses, cycle hire, or trams, the IFS Cloud Cable Car, or a Tube or rail station.
