You'll soon be able to pay for London's Sandtander Cycles by mobile

TfL is enhancing Santander Cycles by adding motors and enabling mobile payments to match the convenience offered by Lime bikes, aiming to address declining bike hire numbers.

E-bikes are gaining popularity over regular pedal bikes in London, with a higher hire frequency, leading TfL to plan an expansion of its e-bike fleet based on Travel in London report data.
