A flat on the 11th floor of a 17-storey building was completely alight. The woman left the property before the brigade arrived, and her condition is unclear at this stage.
Three other people were treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews. Station Commander Tony Perks stated, "This was a very visible fire, and the area became increasingly busy as a result."
The fire was under control just before 3pm. The cause of the blaze is under now investigation.
