A fire broke out in a flat on Marinefield Road in Fulham just after 9am on June 27. A woman escaped the flat before emergency services arrived and was subsequently treated by the London Ambulance Service. Despite the efforts, she later died in the hospital. The fire caused damage to part of the three-roomed home, and it took about an hour for the fire to be brought under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by both the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
A woman has died in hospital after escaping a fire in a flat in Fulham on June 27, which broke out just after 9am.
The fire damaged part of a three-roomed home, and two fire engines along with around 10 firefighters responded to the scene.
She was treated by the London Ambulance Service after evacuating the flat but later died in hospital, an hour after the fire began.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
