Hampstead near the Heath topped the list, known for its celebrity residents. Other desired locales included Marylebone and various mews houses in areas such as Westminster and Notting Hill. However, the responses also included sobering reflections on rising housing costs, with some individuals recalling being priced out of their previous homes.
The top-liked answer was 'Hampstead near the Heath'. According to Rightmove, the average house in NW3 is going for a mega £1,347,345. As a famous celeb haunt, with the likes of Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Helena Bonham Carter all having houses there, it's no shock that this A-lister-packed spot is one of Londoners' top choices.
Other popular spots were Marylebone, where the average house price is £1,639,445, and, AKA the UK's second-happiest place to live where a house costs an average £951,539.
There were also shout outs to mews houses in Westminster, Parsons Green and Notting Hill. And some wanted to live in the . Other responses however were more sobering. 'Where I used to live, my home, until I was priced out - Twickenham,' one person wrote.
