Trains resume to and from Heathrow after burst pipe halted services
Transport for London reported no Elizabeth Line services between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow due to a signal failure caused by flooding at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 after 6am. Heathrow Express services were also affected. Services restarted shortly after midday after Heathrow infrastructure maintenance teams isolated the leaking water pipe, allowing trains to run again. Heathrow airport stated services were starting to resume on the Elizabeth line and Heathrow Express and advised passengers to allow extra time. A Network Rail spokesperson warned delays may continue, with trains potentially cancelled or revised, and advised checking National Rail Enquiries for updates.
