The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that they are conducting a thorough investigation into the sexual assault of a shop worker at the TK Maxx store in Brent Cross Shopping Centre that occurred on September 22.
After the initial report of assault, when police attended to take a statement, the victim had already left the scene, leading to challenges in pursuing the investigation further.
On September 29, as the suspect returned to TK Maxx, alert staff attempted to detain him when police were called, but he managed to evade capture again.
CCTV footage of the suspect has been recovered and police are actively trying to identify him, understanding the significant concerns raised by the victim in this case.
