For two days during Betwixmas, both museums will be running their steam engines and offering a joint ticket for both museums, including travel between them in an old Routemaster bus.
The New Year Steam Up takes place on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st December 2024 and you can start your visit at either museum, with the bus trip between them taking about 30 minutes.
They advise public transport visitors to start their day at the London Museum of Water & Steam, a short walk from Kew Bridge or Gunnersbury stations, and catch the shuttle bus to Kempton.
The joint ticket, including the bus ride, costs £30 for adults and £10 for children.
