More than two hundred firefighters tackled three separate grass fires in east London on Monday evening. The fires burned eight hectares of grass, shrubland, and trees.
Firefighters worked extremely hard to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby properties, with jets and wildfire beaters used to stop flames reaching the homes.
LFB warned that it could be a "challenging summer" due to warm and dry weather, urging Londoners to act "responsibly" to prevent further incidents.
All firefighters have been undergoing enhanced wildfire response training in preparation for what could be another challenging summer.
