From April 2023 to March 2024, 18 out of 25 of Bromley's train stations experienced a rise in crime. Birkbeck station notably saw a quadruple increase in both crimes and antisocial behavior offenses, with a majority of station crimes occurring in May 2023.
On-board trains, 15 out of 25 locations witnessed an increase in crime, while just five stations reported a decrease. A British Transport Police spokesperson emphasized that public safety is their top priority on the rail network.
