Kamonnan Thiamphanit was found dead at an Airbnb property she was renting in Stanhope Place. The suspect, believed to be known to her, has fled the country.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell mentioned that the attacker was known to the victim. They are exploring extradition possibilities due to lack of imminent charges.
Ms. Thiamphanit passed away due to multiple sharp force injuries. Neighbors reported hearing screams the day before her body was discovered.
