Speed limit error sees hundreds of drivers fined

The sign, on the A20 at Sidcup, south-east London, shows 50mph, but the actual limit is 40mph - something not reflected by a sign on the eastbound side of the road.
TfL has acknowledged that a temporary 40mph speed limit was put in due to flooding, but motorists argue that fines and points should be cancelled because of the wrong signs.
