A Southwark man, Taz Uddin, 50, was sentenced to seven years for possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. The investigation, initiated by Tower Hamlets' officers, led to the recovery of over 100 wraps of heroin and cocaine near a school.
Detective Inspector Sam Bennett emphasized the importance of addressing the root causes of drug abuse and the role of targeted policing in creating a safer environment by building trust within the community.
