But he is ambushed from behind by another youth who attempts to strike him on the back of the head with a machete, but slips and falls to the ground."
"As women and girls scream, he gets back up on his feet and - with an accomplice - chases their intended target down Kingsland High Street, Dalston. The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday afternoon and involved at least six individuals. The Metropolitan Police have been approached for comment. Bystanders react when one of the knife-wielding attacker's weapon is knocked out of his hand and lands on the pavement near the coffee shop and branches of the Popeyes and Wingstop restaurants."

The Metropolitan Police were approached for comment.
