Running the London Marathon? Here's how to get free train travel on the day if you live in Essex
Briefly

I am delighted to announce that we will once again be offering free travel across the c2c route to all those taking part in this year's London Marathon. This is our little way of saying thank you' to the thousands of heroes who will be taking on the gruelling 26.2-mile course and raising vital funds and awareness for the many great and deserving charities they represent.
The London Marathon is one challenge that I have been keen to take on for many years and I am delighted that I have now been given this fantastic opportunity. I am running for the London Air Ambulance charity and helping to raise much needed funds for a new helicopter, further helping to provide critical and timely care for those in the capital who need it most, she added.
c2c would like to wish everyone taking part the very best of luck, and we hope you enjoy a nice relaxing and comfortable journey with us. To claim a free return ticket, all you need to do is present your race bib or medal to c2c staff at both your departure and arrival stations.
