Roads closed after huge police station fire to reopen over a month later

Supt Dan Card announced today (April 18) that streets around Forest Gate Police Station will reopen this evening. He acknowledged the frustration but emphasized safety as a priority.
Around 175 firefighters responded to the blaze at the police station on March 6, with the cause of the fire still undetermined. Crews continued to work on the situation till March 7 morning.
The closure of the surrounding roads due to the fire outbreak has lasted for over a month, expressing appreciation for the community's patience.
