The stroke care service at Queen's has improved significantly, providing a 24-hour thrombectomy service seven days a week, covering almost nine million people.
MP Andrew Rosindell expressed admiration for the changes at Queen's, stating, 'It was impressive to see how Queen's has changed its thrombectomy service to provide life-saving operations for so many people.'
Matthew Trainer, chief executive of BHRUT, highlighted the staff's response to challenges, saying, 'This was an opportunity to show the MP how staff have risen to the recent challenges and to see the standards of care that we give patients.'
