Birmingham Phoenix's winless run was extended to 12 matches as they lost by 20 runs to London Spirit in The Hundred women's competition at Lord's. The 2023 bottom side haven't won since mid-way through the 2022 season.
Meg Lanning led Spirit with 53, forming partnerships with Cordelia Griffith (21) and Heather Knight (26). Ellyse Perry (65) and Sophie Devine (31) of Phoenix had an 89-run partnership but fell short.
Sarah Glenn's 4-22 performance, including crucial dismissals of Perry and Devine, led Spirit to victory. Katie Levick took 3-24 as Phoenix struggled. Spirit collapsed losing 6-9 to close the innings.
