A person has died after being hit by a train at West Dulwich station. Police and London Ambulance Service crews attended, however the person was pronounced dead shortly after.
This tragic incident occurred between Beckenham Junction and London Victoria and was reported shortly after 10.50am. All lines between West Dulwich station will remain closed while the incident is dealt with.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: Officers were called to West Dulwich railway station at around 10.51 am today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
